A combination of limited graduate job vacancies and a vast increase in University places has meant that new graduates are facing huge competition for good first jobs.
Becoming a graduate is a wonderful achievement and something that one should be very proud of – but – what now? A degree does not necessarily prepare you for the workplace but the Graduate Course at OMBS does. This intensive one term course is designed to build on academic skills acquired at University, by adding a comprehensive set of practical work skills. This means that our graduates are able to offer employers effective performance from day one, giving them the edge when it comes to securing that all important first job.

Course Content
The course combines three key elements:- Training in the range of IT used in the office environment, including essential software such as electronic diary management.
- Training in a variety of aspects of management theory and performance techniques.
- Training and, crucially, practical support in the process of securing the right career including Myers Briggs Personality Profiling.
