How to find us
OMBS is located at the far end of Cambridge Terrace in the centre of the City of Oxford. The premises are on the second floor of Southern House. Please use the gate entry system on arrival. There is both access by lift and stairs.
Parking within Oxford can be difficult, so if you arrive by car we suggest use of the nearby Oxpens car park (Sat Nav Postcode: OX1 1RQ), as OMBS does not have parking facilities. The College is about a 10 minute walk from Oxpens car park. (Do note that the Westgate Shopping Centre multi-storey car park is now closed for refurbishment until 2017)
From the Oxpens car park cross over the road and turn right. Keep going straight following the A420/Thames Street. When you come to the intersection of Norfolk Street cross over and keep going straight. You will them come to a double pedestrian crossing where Old Greyfriars Street joins from the left. You will need to go over both pedestrian crossings, snaking through the railings towards the red brick wall. Here is the start of Speedwell Street. Walk straight into Speedwell Street keeping the A420/Thames Street on your right. Keep walking until you meet Albion Place. Turn left into Albion Place. Then Cambridge Terrace is the first road on the right.
Continue down Cambridge Terrace until you see a set of black railings on the left. Use the buzzer to notify us of your arrival and we can let you in. There is a secondary door to be buzzed through which is beyond the bicycle racks under the overhang. We are on the second floor.
Alternatively Oxford has an excellent ‘Park & Ride’ bus service offering convenient parking at the City limits on the A34, A40 and A43. From there, regular bus services run to the City centre. Please click here for more Park and Ride information. Do note that parking charges apply at the Park and Ride car parks with the exception of Thornhill and Water Eaton which are free to park. Please click here for parking charge information.
The College is situated just a ten minute walk from the station but on your first visit we recommend you take a taxi. Oxford is well served by trains to and from London, as well as other parts of the UK. Trains from London’s Paddington station run every 30 minutes and take less than one hour.
The College is situated just a few minutes from the central bus station. There are frequent comfortable express buses from central London to Oxford, as well as from both Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
